Production Engineer

Production Engineer Opportunity:

In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in the careful assembly of our precision temperature metrology calibration products, ensuring that every item that leaves our facility meets the high standard our customers rely on. As demand for our products continues to grow, we are looking to welcome a Production Engineer to join our production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in high quality work and wants to grow their skills within a technically focused, collaborative environment.

Aspects of the Production Engineer role:

• Assembly of both mechanical and electrical components
• Using hand tools and equipment to aid production processes
• Soldering
• Communicating and collaborating with colleagues throughout the production timeline

Qualities of a Production Engineer:

• Able to work precisely with a good attention to detail
• Experience in Engineering, or interest in learning
• Good communication skills with colleagues
• Happy with repetitive work while maintaining care and precision

The successful applicant will also have opportunities to develop skills beyond the core requirements of the role, such as liaising with the in-house design team, learning electrical principles, repairing and service of customers equipment, and reading schematics and technical drawings.

Location: Southport Merseyside PR9 9AP

Salary: £21-30K (commensurate with experience)
