About the role

This role involves overseeing machinery, equipment, and production operations in a food processing facility, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. You will plan, control, and improve production processes in the food processing line in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee machinery, equipment, and production operations in compliance with standard operating procedures
• Plan, control, and improve production processes in the food processing line according to production plans, quality, and cost targets
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and food safety requirements
• Analyse production process issues such as waste, machinery downtime, and line imbalances
• Propose continuous improvement approaches
• Coordinate with relevant departments including QA/QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and Planning to ensure smooth production operations
• Track and record production data including output, yield, downtime, and defects for analysis and reporting

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Ability to monitor machinery during production and perform basic maintenance
• Basic knowledge of food production processes and quality systems such as GMP and HACCP
• Proficiency with basic software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in shifts and work every other Saturday
• Responsible, meticulous, and able to work under pressure
• Recent graduates or those with experience in food processing facilities are welcome to apply

Working Condition:

Working day:  Mon - Fri and every other Sat

Working hour: 07.00 a.m. – 05.00 p.m. or as specified by the agency
