Production Engineer

1.       Plan and coordinate, and lead Mold Trials to ensure tools are qualified according to product specifications and quality requirements

2.       Utilize Mold Trial Check sheets systematically document machine parameters, cycle times, temperatures, and initial shot results

3.       Compile and evaluate Mold Trial Results, providing clear data-driven feedback for tool modifications.

4.       Perform comprehensive 100% dimensional and visual appearance inspections to ensure strict adherence to quality standards

5.       Coordinate and implement 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) process changes requested by other departments

6.       Investigate molding defects (short shots, flash, warping, sink marks) by issuing and managing Mold Problem Reports.

7.       Maintain active Mold Problem Monitoring tracking logs to oversee tooling condition, maintenance schedules, and corrective action histories.

8.       Perform root-cause analysis for tooling or process anomalies using structured methodologies (e.g., 4M, Fishbone, 5-Why).

9.       Collaborate with the QA/QC department to align with QCPC (Quality Control Process Checkpoints) standards.

10.    Draft, update, and maintain clear Production Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machine operators.

11.    Coordinate with packaging teams to ensure Parts Packaging specifications are established to prevent transit and handling damage.

12.    Perform other duties, special projects, and tasks as assigned by immediate superior and/or management.
