Production Engineer

A. Production Planning & Execution

• Execute daily production plans as per the production schedule and customer requirements.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Monitor production activities and ensure optimum utilization of machines, materials, and manpower.
• Minimize production downtime, rejection, wastage, and rework.

B. Shop-Floor Management

• Supervise daily shop-floor activities and ensure smooth workflow.
• Allocate manpower according to production requirements and operator skills.
• Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and workforce performance.
• Ensure proper shift handover and maintain production continuity.

C. Quality Control

• Ensure production as per approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department for first-piece inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
• Identify defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality standards and reduce rejection and customer complaints.

D. Process & Machine Monitoring

• Monitor machine performance and ensure proper machine settings and operating parameters.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize breakdowns.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and process control standards.
• Support process improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.

E. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports, downtime records, and shift-wise production data.
• Ensure proper recording of material consumption and production output.
• Monitor production KPIs and report deviations to the reporting manager.
• Maintain traceability and production-related documentation.

F. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and the use of appropriate PPE.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping, and safe working conditions.
• Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and workplace incidents.
• Participate in safety training, internal audits, and continuous improvement activities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
