Production Engineer

Main Job Scope:

• To assist the Production Manager in carry out the overall production operations.
• To handle and monitor Production Department's equipment and machineries.
• To support Production department with the expansion of production process and machineries.
• To carry out daily duties as specified in production Standard Operation Procedure (SOP).
• Perform job in accordance to ISO 9001 as per company Quality Management System.
• To monitor production processes to ensure the production schedule is being implemented and followed.
• To prepare documented procedures or instructions according to ISO 9001 and revise the existing documents in accordance with the passage of time and technology.
• To carry out production process data collection, analysis and evaluation.
• To liaise with the relevant departments and vendors (technical) to ensure production goals are realised.
• To plan the use of raw materials and its availability in each project.
• To plan delivery and logistics in accordance to project requirements.
• To improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing work processes, space and equipment layout.
• To carry out other jobs assigned by the Production Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Must possess at least degree in any engineering field.
• Experienced in manufacturing, especially in metal industry is an added advantage.
• Must have the ability to read engineering technical drawings.
• Ability to use software like AutoCAD or 3D software such as SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of FMEA and Cleanroom Architectural System will be an added advantage.
• Must be good in communication both written and verbal (Bahasa Melayu & English).
