Production Engineer

Role Description The Production Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dodamarg. The role involves planning and managing daily production activities to meet output, quality, and safety targets while optimizing resource utilization. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams for production scheduling, monitoring process performance, troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing improvements in manufacturing workflows. The Production Engineer will support quality control initiatives, maintain documentation and production reports, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. The position also requires active participation in continuous improvement projects, equipment maintenance coordination, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering and Production Planning skills to manage manufacturing processes and optimize productivity.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify root causes of issues, and drive process improvements.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Quality Control to ensure finished products meet technical specifications and industry standards.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions on the shop floor.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, lean manufacturing principles, and basic project management is beneficial.
• Experience in heavy engineering, energy solutions, or process industries, and familiarity with ERP or production management software is an advantage.
