Production Engineer (Level I-IV)

TD Automotive Compressor Georgia (TACG) , a subsidiary of Toyota Industries North America , is seeking a motivated Production Engineer to join our team. TACG manufactures automotive air conditioning compressors and is committed to continuous improvement through Toyota Production System (TPS) principles, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.

What You'll Do

• Lead manufacturing process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and Kaizen activities.
• Design, develop, and optimize production equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved.
• Support CNC machining operations, tooling development, robotics, and automation initiatives.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, CAD drawings, and process standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or production engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with CNC machining, tooling, manufacturing processes, or automation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
