Production Engineer

In our chemical factory in Drongen, we manufacture udder hygiene products, cleaning agents and hoof disinfection products. As a Production Engineer, you will be part of the Maintenance & Engineering Team and play an important role in improving the reliability, efficiency and future development of our production facilities.

You will combine operational support with project engineering and work closely with production, maintenance, quality and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and follow up preventive maintenance and calibration activities
• Support and manage engineering projects from design to implementation
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, work instructions and SOPs
• Manage technical purchasing activities and supplier follow-up
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors during project execution
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality and efficiency
• Support change control activities in cooperation with the QA department
• Train and support operators on new processes and equipment
• Prepare engineering datasheets and technical drawings (AutoCAD)
• Participate in risk assessments and HAZOP studies

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience
• Interest in manufacturing processes, maintenance and industrial operations
• Knowledge of automation, process engineering or project management is an advantage
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, proactive and results-oriented
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in Dutch and English
