Production Engineer

Minimum Competency Requirement

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
• At least 5 years working experience in the Steel Structure and Pressure Vessel Fabrications shop.
• Heavy steel structures and installation of heavy equipment.
• Able to coordinate project work, plan production schedules, organize resources to ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Involved in material take-off, costing, sourcing and establishing cost database and prepare quotations/proposals and tenders.
• Project planning, coordination and execution including supervision of site projects and fabrication in own/subcontractors yards.
• Prepare overall job schedule and ensure that project documents lists are maintained as required by the client.
• Coordinate engineering design activities consistent with customers’ technical specifications and schedule requirements.
• Ensure all materials are requisited on time and in accordance with applicable specifications.
• Monitor progress of jobs against the job schedule.
• Responsible for cost control on all jobs. Maintain the job cost summary showing committed expenditure against estimated cost for each cost item.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
