Production Engineer – Fabrication

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Production Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and fabrication experience to manage day-to-day production activities, supervise the fabrication team, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and as per quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and fabrication activities.
• Supervise fabricators, welders, fitters, and other production workers.
• Read and understand mechanical and fabrication drawings.
• Monitor production progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QC, Procurement, Stores, and other departments.
• Ensure proper use of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor fabrication activities such as cutting, fitting, welding, and assembly.
• Resolve production issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure finished products meet required quality standards.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Maintain basic production records and reports.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and company procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in production and fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, fitting, and assembly.
• Ability to read mechanical/fabrication drawings.
• Experience in supervising production teams.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing/fabrication company is preferred.
• UAE experience will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: To be discussed based on experience.

Pay: AED1,760.24 - AED11,627.50 per month
