Production Engineer (Fresh Graduate)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and hands-on Production Engineer to join our growing fabrication and manufacturing team. This position is suitable for fresh graduates who are eager to gain practical experience in production planning, metal fabrication, quality control, and project coordination.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and production teams to develop your technical skills, understand manufacturing processes, and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.
• Monitor production progress to ensure jobs are completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available for production.
• Assist in ensuring fabricated products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
• Work closely with the QA/QC team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Learn and monitor fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, bending, machining, and assembly.
• Coordinate with production operators, welders, machinists, and fabricators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist in assigning work and monitoring manpower productivity under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and technical issues, and propose practical solutions.
• Prepare and update production reports, progress records, and engineering documentation.
• Read, interpret, and assist in preparing or modifying engineering and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant internship or industrial training experience will have an advantage.
• Basic understanding of metal fabrication, manufacturing processes, or mechanical engineering principles.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work hands-on in a manufacturing environment.
• Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work towards project deadlines.
• A good team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
• Willing to learn troubleshooting techniques for fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes.
