What they need
We are seeking a Production Engineer, Network Development to own fleet health, debugging tooling, and repair automation for a rapidly scaling AI infrastructure company building large, high-density datacenter sites and the networks that connect them.
About the company: A fast-growing team designing, building, and operating power and data infrastructure for large-scale AI compute. The work is greenfield and multi-site, at a scale where manual operations do not hold up in production. Networks are treated as a product: monitored, automated, and repaired as a system, not a ticket queue.
What you will do:
- Own network fleet health end to end: monitoring requirements, alerting lifecycle, and dashboards that give on-call a true picture of network state across all sites
- Build active debugging tooling: link diagnostics, remote command execution across the fleet, and repair visualization
- Turn repair into a pipeline, not a procedure: detection through parts management and return to service, including ticket integration, repair lifecycle, and transceiver/optics tracking
- Own reliability, scalability, and day-to-day operation of the network through automation, tooling, and incident discipline
What we are looking for:
- You treat toil as a bug and build the tool instead of SSHing into boxes by hand
- Systems thinker who can tell a transceiver fault, a bad route, and a power event apart
- Comfortable in ambiguity: you build the map and explain it to everyone else
- Automation in Go and Python , plus link diagnostics, optical networks, and network monitoring (gNMI, gRPC, NETCONF, SONiC)
- Bonus points: large-scale datacenter fabric (BGP, ECMP, spine-leaf) and out-of-band network management
Why this role:
- Own the systems that keep a large datacenter network healthy
- Build the tooling and automation, not just run the procedure
- Work on mission-critical infrastructure where the problems are real
