Production Engineer [Precision Engineering]

Job Responsibilities

• Programming: They create and modify programs [Mastercam / Hypermill etc] for various machining operations, translating technical drawings into machine instructions.
• Machine Setup and Commissioning: They set up and commission CNC mills, lathes, and other machines, ensuring they are functioning correctly.
• Process Optimization: They analyse and optimize the CNC production process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Troubleshooting: They diagnose and resolve machine issues and production problems, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Quality Control: They implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Documentation: They maintain accurate records of production processes and machine settings.
• Collaboration: They work closely with other engineers, machinists, and production staff to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Safety: They prioritize and maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in any field. (preferably Mechanical Eng.)
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Required Skill(s): CNC machining skill (G-code, tooling, maintenance, etc..), GD&T knowledge (Able to read simple drawings, perform measuring, etc); Lean Manufacturing Principle; ISO knowledge is an advantage.
