Production Engineer (Project Engineer)

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Production Engineer (Project Engineer) to join our team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our production operations.

In this role, you will be involved in production process analysis, efficiency improvement, quality enhancement, cost reduction, equipment optimization, and engineering projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with production and cross-functional teams to solve technical issues and implement sustainable improvements.

This position is also open to fresh graduates who are eager to learn, challenge themselves, and build a strong career in engineering and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to improve efficiency, product quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve production and equipment-related issues through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring problems.
• Initiate and execute continuous improvement projects to optimize production processes and overall operational performance.
• Support the development, review, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality systems.
• Optimize machine and equipment performance to improve productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and interpret technical drawings and support engineering documentation as required.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of engineering and production improvement projects.
• Monitor production activities and ensure project implementation is carried out effectively and according to established standards.
• Support and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve equipment effectiveness and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other relevant departments to achieve operational and project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, analyze results, and provide recommendations for further improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) / Diploma 4 (D4) in Electrical Engineering or a relevant Electrical Engineering sub-discipline.
• Good understanding of troubleshooting, failure analysis, and preventive action.
• Demonstrated ability or strong interest in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Able to read and create technical drawings / engineering drawings; drafting skills are preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.00 from a reputable university.
• Minimum 2 year of relevant experience is preferred; however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Willing to be placed in Gresik.
