Production Engineering

About the role

Production Engineer responsible for controlling and improving press/stamping manufacturing processes. The role involves analyzing and resolving production issues including defects and scrap, while enhancing manufacturing efficiency. You will oversee die and press equipment coordination, ensure production processes comply with ISO standards and company quality systems, and manage related documentation such as work instructions, process flows, control plans, and ISO documents. You will support ISO system assessments including internal and external audits, and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Control and improve press/stamping manufacturing processes for component production
• Analyze and resolve production problems including defects, scrap, and efficiency improvements
• Oversee and coordinate die and press equipment management
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with ISO standards and company quality systems
• Prepare and control system documentation including work instructions, process flows, control plans, and ISO documents
• Support ISO system assessments including internal and external audits
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of press/stamping processes for component production
• Knowledge of dies and press machinery
• Experience in automotive component manufacturing or automotive production facilities
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 systems (preferred)
• Ability to analyze and resolve production process problems
• Experience in Press Die / Stamping Process (preferred)
