Production Engineering Executive

Job description

• Coordinate with the drafting team and review drawings prepared by drafters to ensure production suitability and correctness.
• Use engineering drawings to support production planning and execution.
• Select appropriate materials based on application, cost, and availability.
• Work with suppliers and Purchasing on material specifications, substitutions, and technical clarifications.
• Support Production and QA in resolving drawing- and material-related issues.
• Ensure engineering documentation and BOMs are updated and aligned with production needs.
• Assist in improving engineering and drafting workflows to reduce errors and delays.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD (able to read, check, and make minor updates to drawings).
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience dealing with suppliers or technical sourcing is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate with drafting, production, and quality teams.
• Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
