Production Engineering Supervisor

About the role

This is a Production Engineering Supervisor role responsible for controlling and managing Production Engineering work to meet targets in quality, cost, delivery, and production efficiency. The role involves leading an engineering team, analyzing and resolving issues in production processes, machinery, and products, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Control and manage Production Engineering work to meet quality, cost, delivery, and production efficiency targets
• Control and manage the engineering/technical team, including task assignment, progress monitoring, and performance evaluation
• Analyze and resolve issues related to production processes, machinery, and products to prevent problems and reduce losses
• Control and improve production processes using Kaizen and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Support development and improvement of Production Processes to align with customer requirements
• Review and maintain engineering documentation such as Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, and Work Instructions
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, Planning, Purchasing, and related departments to resolve issues and support production
• Monitor and control vehicle model operations from production preparation, trial production, to actual production
• Analyze production data and prepare performance reports with improvement recommendations for management
• Track departmental KPIs and drive the team to achieve targets

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of engineering experience in the Automotive industry
• Supervisor/Leader level experience with ability to manage a team
• People Management skills including task assignment, progress monitoring, and team performance control
• Experience with vehicle models or automotive component manufacturing processes
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems in production processes
• Knowledge of Production Process, Kaizen, Problem Solving, FMEA, and Control Plan
• Ability to coordinate with various departments and work well as a team
• TOEIC Score 550 or higher
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation
• Leadership qualities with ability to make decisions and work under pressure
