Production Engineering Supervisor

The Production Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising and improving manufacturing processes to ensure The role leads process control, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, standardisation, and new product or process implementation while coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D, and other related functions.

Job Descriptions :

• Supervise daily production engineering activities and ensure that manufacturing processes remain stable and capable.
• Plan and lead improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, line balancing, and Poka-Yoke.
• Coordinate production trials, process validation, capability studies, and ramp-up activities for new products or processes.
• Support the development and implementation of control plans, process standards, and critical parameter controls.
• Develop, review, and maintain process sheets, parameter standards, SOPs, work instructions, layouts, and engineering,
• Prepare and present engineering KPI reports, project progress, technical issues, and improvement results.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in production, process, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, injection moulding or plastic manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in process improvement, technical troubleshooting, standardisation, and new product or process.
• Familiar with ERP, Autocad, and problem-solving methods.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, SPC, and basic Six Sigma principles.
• Ability to analyse production data and monitor KPIs such as output, defect rate, cycle time, downtime, yield, and OEE.
