What they need
What to Expect
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead, support, and manage a team of technicians and NCM associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership capabilities that can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. This leader will build a team that can work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments, in leading Process and Non-Conforming Material initiatives.
What You'll Do

- Partner with Engineering and Production to understand the product, process, and quality control plan
- Lead Process Technicians and Production teams in process issue analysis and problem solving
- Monitor, manage, and countermeasure Manufacturing Management System (MMS) and work-in-process (WIP) accumulations; track defect trends and escalate to Engineering, Quality, and Production
- Disposition special-case non-conforming material from the manufacturing line and support root cause investigation and corrective action tracking
- Execute repairs and troubleshooting to the instructed process and hold quality standards throughout rework so no defects escape the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) area
- Ensure processes meet safety and ergonomic requirements; train and coach Process Technicians and associates; optimize labor utilization and reduce waste and variability
- Plan labor for production ramp, communicate job expectations, complete performance and objectives reviews, and set team priorities based on the business plan, in alignment with company policies
- Own Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance for the team, including current safety training, incident documentation, hazard correction, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
- Experience in leadership and lean manufacturing, with organization, record-keeping, and attention to detail to maintain team accountability
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn systems quickly and teach them to others
- Demonstrated adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards, and the ability to lead by example
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including daily interface with executives and leaders and presenting to upper management
- Ability to work independently, set team priorities amid competing and urgent business needs, and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
- Analytical capability, including data collection and analysis, familiarity with statistical software, and the ability to develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, and cost)
