We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Estimator to join our Estimating team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate material quantification, precise ordering, and margin control for residential home build projects.
You will work closely with Australian construction plans, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to review contract documentation, generate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and ensure projects transition smoothly to site start—all while maintaining high quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Estimator, your responsibilities will include:

• Estimating & Procurement: Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and purchase orders for residential home builds.
• Document Review: Review architectural drawings, engineering details, specifications, contracts, and variations prior to site start.
• Financial Analysis: Complete comprehensive cost and margin analyses to support profitable builds.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise directly with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve pricing, ordering, and documentation discrepancies.
• Construction Support: Support Construction teams and internal stakeholders with site-related inquiries and customer variation requests.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize estimating workflows, enhance process accuracy, and boost overall business performance.
• Compliance & Timelines: Ensure all job files and orders are completed with high precision and delivered within agreed SLAs and timeframes.

About you:

• Australian Experience (Required): A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working on Australian residential construction projects or supporting Australian clients.
• Industry Knowledge: Proven background in residential Production Estimating with a strong grasp of Australian residential construction methods and building standards.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret architectural drawings, engineering details, site plans, and scope of works.
• Attention to Detail: High level of numerical accuracy, commercial acumen, and sharp attention to detail.
• Self-Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Communication: Strong oral and written English communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
