PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE

Our client is seeking a Production Executive to join their team!

What you'll be doing?   

• Production Scheduling & Resource Planning: Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery, while strategically allocating manpower, machinery, and materials to consistently meet production targets.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements by ensuring all products and processes meet established benchmarks, including full compliance with GMP facility standards and standard operating procedures.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, guide, and support a team of production workers through proper training, performance management, and day-to-day coaching to resolve operational challenges on the floor.
• Fostering a Positive Work Culture: Champion a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, mutual respect, and collective achievement.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity, while monitoring production metrics and reporting performance insights to senior management.
• Equipment & Maintenance Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to minimise equipment downtime and conduct regular audits to uphold safety and operational standards.
• Compliance & Safety Management: Ensure full adherence to local and international safety regulations, and deliver training to staff on hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
• Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Partner with procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels, manage raw material usage efficiently, and minimise wastage throughout the production process.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed production records — including output, downtime, and quality data — and prepare reports on performance and improvement plans for stakeholders, including the R&D Director.

Who are they looking for?   

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or a related field provides a strong foundation for this role.
• Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3 years of related working experience in a production or operations environment is preferred, though those with strong transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
• Independent & Collaborative Worker: The ability to work independently while also effectively leading and supporting a team is key to succeeding in this role.
• Digital Literacy: Familiarity with basic office software such as MS Office will support day-to-day reporting and documentation tasks.
• Communication & Organisation: Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for coordinating across teams and keeping operations running smoothly.
• Composure Under Pressure: The ability to prioritise tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment will be a valuable asset in this role.
• Interpersonal Adaptability: A natural ability to connect with and adapt to different personalities helps foster positive relationships across the production floor and beyond.
• Leadership Capability: Strong leadership and people management skills are important for guiding a team and driving operational excellence.
• Production & Quality Knowledge: An understanding of production processes and quality control procedures will be a distinct advantage in this role.
