Production Executive

Key responsibilities:

• Assist and work together with the department to achieve production targets while maintaining safety, efficient operations, and ensuring production output meets the required quality standards.
• Be responsible for staff work scheduling and conduct inspections and monitoring to ensure accurate date printing, product packaging, product labelling, daily productivity, and reporting of relevant information and non-conformities to Management.
• Ensure that products are produced within the required timeframe and comply with the established quality standards.
• Supervise the production process and arrange production schedules according to production targets and requirements.
• Ensure that all employees follow and comply with safety and health guidelines to prevent workplace accidents.
• Supervise and continuously motivate all employees.
• Resolve production-related issues and strive for continuous improvement in the production line, increased productivity, and reduction of waste.
• Ensure all production records are properly maintained and updated as required under the relevant SOPs.
• Monitor on-the-job training for employees in machine operation, processing, and packaging.
• Assist the Department Head in planning manpower, inspecting machine conditions, and preparing raw materials to ensure smooth production operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper implementation of 5S practices within the production area and surrounding areas.
• Be responsible for evaluating the performance of subordinate employees for confirmation of employment, promotion, and salary increment.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Department to monitor machine cleanliness and ensure machines are in good working condition, as well as supervise cleaning activities carried out by sanitation employees.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, with experience supervising production personnel.
• Practical knowledge of GMP, HACCP, hygiene, traceability and production documentation.
• Ability to plan manpower, solve production problems and use production data to improve output, yield and efficiency.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills; able to work with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse and Planning teams.
• Organised and accountable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and respond to changing priorities.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
