Production Executive

About the role

Coordinate production planning, daily manufacturing performance, manpower utilisation, and cross-department communication to achieve production targets and delivery commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor production schedules and daily output plans.
• Track production performance, efficiency, scrap, and downtime.
• Coordinate material availability, manpower, and machine capacity.
• Liaise with Production Supervisors, QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning.
• Analyse production problems and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare production reports and maintain manufacturing records.
• Monitor compliance with SOPs, quality requirements, and safety standards.
• Support cost reduction, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or production management within a steel works or metal manufacturing environment

• Manufacturing or production coordination experience preferred.

• Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

• Acknowledge safety and health process and procedure for manufacturing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.

• Able to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines
