Production Floater

Job Summary

AS & Cleanings LLC is seeking a dependable and flexible Production Floater / Quality Control Inspector to support our cleaning operations at multiple client locations. This position is responsible for filling in when scheduled cleaners call off or are unavailable, assisting locations that need additional support, and performing quality inspections to ensure cleaning services meet company and client standards.

The ideal candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, professional, and able to travel between assigned locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned client locations when coverage is needed due to employee call-offs, absences, or staffing shortages.
• Perform scheduled cleaning duties according to each location’s scope of work and cleaning checklist.
• Conduct routine quality inspections of client locations.
• Inspect restrooms, floors, offices, common areas, trash removal, dusting, and other contracted cleaning areas.
• Verify that assigned cleaners are completing all required duties properly.
• Identify missed areas, incomplete work, supply issues, or other quality concerns.
• Take before-and-after or quality-control photos when required.
• Report inspection results and concerns directly to management.
• Correct minor cleaning deficiencies during inspections when possible.
• Assist with training or guiding cleaners on proper cleaning procedures when directed by management.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures, client rules, and confidentiality requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior while working at all client locations.
• Be available to work at different locations based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to travel between client locations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and available for occasional last-minute coverage.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify cleaning deficiencies and ensure they are corrected.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning duties including standing, bending, lifting, vacuuming, mopping, and carrying supplies.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Position Expectations

This is a flexible support position. Work locations and assignments may change depending on staffing needs, call-offs, quality inspections, and client requirements. The Production Floater must be prepared to step into an assigned location when needed and help ensure AS & Cleanings LLC maintains consistent service and quality standards.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
