Production Floater

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Production Floater to join our production team. Duties

• Assist in different production stations by performing assembly, manual handling, and quality checks as needed
• Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components within the facility
• Interpret manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and process instructions to support assembly and production tasks
• Use measuring instruments and hand tools to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, including heavy lifting procedures and proper handling of equipment
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line, managing workload fluctuations and supporting team goals

Skills

• Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse or factory environments
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and measurement data accurately
• Experience with manufacturing management practices such as lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including manual handling and heavy lifting techniques
• Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality control purposes
• Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively with team members

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
