Production Floor Supervisor

Summary:
Supervises and coordinates employees assembly and test of avionics, electronics and Li-Ion

battery flight units for launch vehicle, missiles and Satellites

Responsibilities:

• Prepares work schedules
• Writes production unit traveler work instructions
• ERP System production planning
• Assigns work and oversees the work product
• Ensures conformance to established procedures and product quality levels
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and supervise repairs as necessary
• Develop documentation to meet customer requirements

Required Competencies:
Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in the following areas: Li-Ion Battery, Avionics and

Electronics Assembly of flight units with internal power, data, and RF cables.

Technical Skills

• Electrical/Electronics component theory and identification
• Write production floor unit traveler creation
• Experience with ERP Systems (Microsoft Nav, SAP, etc.)
• Inspection of soldering of PCB components (surface mount and thru hole)
• Electronics assembly of unit power, data, and RF cables for flight units
• Computer (Microsoft Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.)
• Familiar with J-STD-001 soldering requirements
• Ability to read electrical schematics and supervise wiring and assembly
• Ability to make electrical measurements in circuits
• ESD and Li-Ion battery safety training

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Supervise and lead team to reach the next level of excellence
• Ability to write technical documents and procedures

Education

• High School Diploma
• A.S. degree in electronics or equivalent military training (military, etc.)
• B.S. preferred in STEM discipline

• CAD software (Solid Works, etc.)

• Schematic reading, GD&T symbology

• Release management

• Quality assurance

• ERP Systems

Salary Range based on experience: $80,000 to $95,000
