Production Group Leader

About the role

Lead and supervise a production team of approximately 200–300 employees to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. Plan and control daily, weekly, and monthly production activities according to production targets and customer requirements. Allocate manpower, equipment, and production resources to achieve production plans and delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production performance, productivity, quality, and efficiency, and take corrective actions when targets are not achieved
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, QA/QC, Warehouse, and other related departments to resolve production issues
• Analyze production problems and implement improvement plans to reduce downtime, defects, and production costs
• Develop work schedules, manpower plans, and shift arrangements based on production requirements
• Ensure employees comply with company policies, work instructions, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to employees and supervisors
• Prepare production reports and communicate operational performance, issues, and improvement plans to management

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in production management or manufacturing operations
• Experience managing a large production team of 200–300 employees is highly preferred
• Strong skills in manpower planning, production planning, problem-solving, and team management
• Good understanding of production processes, quality control, and productivity improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet production targets
• Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry will be an advantage
• Chinese or English communication skills will be an advantage
