Job Summary

The production helper works on the factory or shop floor to ensure daily manufacturing goals run smoothly. This entry-level role involves heavy support tasks that keep materials supplied, products packaged, and workspaces safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials, parts, and finished goods into or out of machinery.
• Line Support: Feed items onto equipment and pass components to machine operators.
• Packaging: Count, sort, wrap, and label finished products for shipment.
• Housekeeping: Sweep floors, remove waste, and keep workstations clean and free of hazards.
• Quality Check: Inspect basic workpieces for obvious defects and report equipment issues to supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items (often up to 50 lbs).
• Communication: Ability to follow written and spoken safety guidelines and supervisor instructions.
• Experience: Frequently entry-level with no prior experience required, though basic industrial training is a plus
