Production Lead

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities:

*Toassistwiththeday-to-daystoreoperationandproductionperformancetomeetorexceed budgetwhileincompliancewithcompany*standards,policiesand*procedures.AProduction LeadperformsthedutiesofasupervisorwhenassignedbytheStoreManagerorProduction Manager.ProductionLeadsmayactinasupervisorycapacityduringscheduled*work hours.

1.Toreachproductiongoalguidelines(minimumof110garmentsperhourwith****a minimum quality standard of 90%).

*2.Toensureproperproductionofdonationsgetprocessedandreadytoputonthestore floor. *3.Toact*asapositiverolemodelforemployeesandtraineesinallaspectsofprofessional performance. *4.Toproduce*donatedgoodsinthebackroom*adequately.Tocreate*apositivepublic image of Goodwill through a clean store environment, attractive displays and presentable, personable personnel.* *5.Tomaintainsafeandappropriateconditions intheback-room* area. *6.Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.) *7.Toobserve*personnelandsafetypoliciesand*procedures.Toensure*complianceby Production Associates. *8.Tobe*ableto perform the jobduties oftheProductionAssociates. *9.Toattend*workontheregularlyscheduledshiftsasassignedbythemanagerforthe* week.

Skills and Abilities:

*1.ToassisttheStoreManagerorProductionManagerinachieving/exceeding*production goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.

*2.Mustbeabletointeractprofessionallyandproductivelywithadiverse arrayof* people. *3.MustbeabletomarketGoodwillandexplainthemissiontothegeneralpublic.* *4.Mustestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipswith,andamong,store and production personnel while motivating them to their best performance. *5.Mustbe*abletoworkaflexiblescheduleatshortnotice,includingnightsand weekends, and occasionally, long hours. *6.Mustbe*abletouserepetitivehandmovementwhen*buttoning,*sorting,hangingand zipping garments.* *7.Mustbe*able*toengageinprolongedstanding,walkingandinfrequentbending, stooping, and stretching. *8.Mustbe*abletofunctioninafast-pacedworkenvironmentwithoccasionalperiods*of high volume.

Requirements:

*1.HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.*

*2.Mustbeableto*read,writeand*communicateclearlyin* English. *3.Priorworkexperience intheserviceindustry* preferred. *4.MustsuccessfullycompleteRetail* training.

Working****Conditions:

*Frequentphysicalexertion,frequentmovement,conditionedindoortemperatureswith*occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
