Production Line Equipment Operator

At Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc., you’ll keep high-performing manufacturing lines running smoothly as a Production Line Equipment Operator. From the first shift’s startup to the last quality check at day’s end, you’ll play a critical role in safe, reliable production with steady hours, weekly pay, and room to grow.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (starting at $20.00 per hour)
• Shift differentials: +$1.00 for 2nd Shift, +$2.00 for 3rd Shift
• Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (AM/PM options)
• Weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)

A day in the role

You arrive to a clean, organized manufacturing floor. After reviewing the day’s targets, you:

• Load and unload product by hand, moving items in and out of production equipment safely
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot assigned machinery to keep throughput on track
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and quality guidelines without compromise
• Conduct routine equipment checks to confirm proper operation
• Record production data and maintain accurate inventory and documentation
• Communicate issues promptly and collaborate with teammates to resolve them
• Finish by tidying your station—everything in its place for the next run

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
• Basic math, reading, and mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
• Self-directed in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to work weekends as scheduled

Preferred

• Previous production or manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement methodologies

Work environment

• Active manufacturing floor with running machinery and equipment noise
• Occasional exposure to production material components
• Fast-moving, team-oriented production setting
