About the Role

As a Production Machine Operator Assistant, you will serve as a key contributor to our high-speed packaging manufacturing line. You will partner with lead operators to optimize equipment performance, ensure rigorous quality standards, and drive efficient production outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with machine operators to execute equipment setups, adjustments, and routine troubleshooting to maximize output.
• Proactively monitor production quality and material waste, taking immediate action to maintain product integrity.
• Operate stand-up forklifts to manage raw materials and finished goods transport throughout the facility.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace in compliance with all industrial safety regulations.
• Verify material availability and perform consistent quality inspections to meet customer specifications.
• Engage in ongoing cross-training to master various production roles and support team advancement.

Required Skills

• Proven ability to operate industrial power vehicles safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical proficiency for production calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an environment with solvents and heavy machinery.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to distinguish colors accurately.
• Comfortable using computer systems for production tracking and data entry.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in a high-speed manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Demonstrated history of operating stand-up forklifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
