Production Machine Operator

ABOUT THE POSITION

Are you technically inclined and interested in working with industrial machinery and automated production equipment?

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our production team! In this role, you will operate and monitor production equipment, help maintain smooth and efficient manufacturing operations, and ensure that products meet established quality and food safety standards.

• Work Location: Purok 13, Crossing Quarry, Tugbok (Pob.), Tugbok District, Davao City
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• At least a vocational or technical course graduate, preferably in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, or other related technical courses.
• Preferably with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Experience in operating or monitoring industrial or automated production equipment is an advantage.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, machine changeovers, or basic preventive maintenance is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and industrial equipment.
• Ability to operate production machinery and use machine control panels or HMI, where applicable.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to recognize equipment abnormalities.
• Ability to follow operating procedures, work instructions, and production parameters.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and sanitation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
• Willingness to perform machine cleaning and sanitation while following established safety procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor assigned production machines to support efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Check machine settings and operating parameters to help maintain consistent product quality.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities according to established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and promptly report breakdowns, abnormalities, or process deviations.
• Inspect products during production and report defects, quality issues, or potential food safety risks.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned equipment and verify its readiness before use.
• Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements at all times.
• Accomplish production reports, machine operation logs, cleaning checklists, and other required records accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment and production concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
