Production Machine Operator (Packaging)

We are looking for a Production Machine Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining flow wrap packaging machines to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, and compliance with safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate flow wrap machines for pillow packaging and ensure smooth production operations.
• Perform machine start-up, adjustments, changeovers, and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues such as sealing problems, film misalignment, incorrect bag length, film tracking concerns, wrinkling, and product jams.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet packaging standards and specifications.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, inspection, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Identify equipment issues and promptly report problems requiring technical support.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow production and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

• With experience in operating flow wrap machines or similar packaging equipment.
• Knowledgeable in machine operation, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or related production environments is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Physically fit and capable of prolonged standing, lifting, pushing, and carrying materials when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Good teamwork, communication skills, and positive work attitude.
• Willing to learn new tasks and adapt to operational changes.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic mechanical knowledge for machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
• Experience handling packaging materials and production equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
