Production Manager – Bakery Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage bakery production operations. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, manpower management, quality control, food safety compliance, inventory control, cost management, and continuous improvement of production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Supervise and coordinate multiple production sections and shifts.
• Manage manpower allocation, productivity, attendance, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Monitor raw material consumption, inventory utilization, and production costs.
• Control wastage, improve yields, and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure efficient equipment operation.
• Analyze production performance and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with Stores, Purchase, Sales, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare production reports and maintain operational documentation.

Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Bakery Technology, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in bakery production, food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar production environment.
• Proven experience in production planning, team management, and operational control.
• Experience handling large production teams is preferred.
