Production Manager (Based in China)

• Lead, plan, and oversee all activities related to the setup, operational readiness, and continuous improvement of the factory’s production facilities.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure reliable chicken manure suppliers to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply, while maintaining supplier performance and meeting operational requirements.
• Develop, implement, and optimise production plans and schedules to support efficient operations, achieve output targets, and align with business needs.
• Supervise and monitor all production activities to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and required quality specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely maintenance of all production records and reports to support internal controls, operational audits, and management review.
• Oversee the production, quality, and process optimisation of all organic fertiliser products, including existing products, Organic Fertiliser with Groshield (Super OF), and any new organic fertiliser products to be introduced in the future.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the production team to enhance performance, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensure the team has the necessary skills and resources to meet operational objectives.
• Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to support professional growth and achieve departmental targets.

Job requirements

• Diploma Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations, with experience in supervising production teams.
• Experience in factory setup, production planning, process improvement, and implementation of SOPs.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage production activities independently.
• Experience in fertiliser, agriculture, chemical, biomass, waste management, or other process manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
• Willing to be based in China
