Production Manager

• Production Planning & Control

  • Develop and manage resources to maximize production to catch up with the production schedules in order to meet customer orders and satisfy their requirements.
  • Monitor and control the internal production processes to ensure safety, quality and efficiency meet the company targets.
  • Optimize operation workflow to make materials flow and balance without any troubles, bottle neck, and 7 Wastes in the operations.

• Quality Compliance

  • Implement and maintain food safety systems such as GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000 and other.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international food packaging safety regulations.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, addressing any non-conformities with corrective actions.

• Process improvement & data analytics

  • Hands on at shop floor to find gaps in operations.
  • Drive operation through data driven culture and analyze root causes with concerned parties with effective tools.
  • Provide solutions to counter any problems in the operation and drive the assignments done as appropriate due.
  • Provide control tools such poka-yoke to maintain best practice in operations.

• Operation management

  • Control material flows in all stations to maintain capacity as planned.
  • Stock management to balance all stations starting from raw materials, work in process, finished goods.
  • Prepare resources in advance to meet all activities done as expectation.

• People & Team Management

  • Lead, manage, and motivate production staff, including supervisors and team leaders.
  • Evaluate, coach, mentor, facilitate sub-ordinates to increase people’s efficiency.
  • Provide training and development programs to enhance technical skills and compliance awareness.
  • Foster a safety- and quality-oriented workplace culture.

• Equipment & Maintenance Management

  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure machinery is in optimal condition.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment upgrades to increase efficiency.

• Cost & Budget Control

  • Monitor production costs and ensure budget compliance.
  • Analyze production data to optimize raw material usage and minimize waste.

• Safety & Environmental Management

  • Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures, ensuring zero accidents.
  • Oversee environmental management programs in compliance with legal and corporate requirements.

• Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Sales to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in management meetings to provide operational updates and strategic recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering in the fields of Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a dedicated operation or production management or operational excellence role.
• Experience in food & beverage packaging, metal can, or FMCG manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience in sheet metal forming, welding, stamping, pressing, printing, coating is an advantage.
• Have basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, Problem-solving, and Decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, presentation skills are required and data analysis tools is an advantage (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
• Result & detailed oriented with strong interpreted communication skills
• English skill is required for both spoking and writing.
