Production Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead daily operations in our high-volume central commissary. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes—from raw material intake and batch production to inventory, quality assurance, and dispatch, ensuring consistent product quality, high efficiency, and full compliance with food safety standards.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and manage daily/weekly production schedules based on sales forecasts and store orders to ensure timely delivery without overstocking.
• Monitor yield rates, minimize food waste, optimize line efficiency, and ensure standard operating procedures are strictly enforced.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, GMP, and local food safety regulations.
• Oversee sanitation protocols, cold-chain maintenance, and product quality checks.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise kitchen supervisors, line leads, and production staff.
• Manage labor scheduling, manpower allocation, and performance evaluations.
• Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to track raw material usage, manage stock rotation, and control food and labor costs.
• Identify bottlenecks in production, implement lean manufacturing principles, and upgrade workflow efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in any four-year course
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissary, commercial bakery, or food manufacturing production management.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, production processes, and equipment maintenance.
• Proven track record in managing large production teams, conflict resolution, and shift scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability to track key production metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and departments.
• Willing to supervise in a shifting schedule.
• Prior experience with high-volume, premium commercial food production, cold-chain logistics, or bakery/dairy commissaries (e.g., UNILOGIX, The Creamery, Mary Grace, or similar food service enterprise backgrounds - preferred but not required)
