Production Manager

Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day coordination of construction project activities, ensuring that work plans, schedules, and resources are aligned with project requirements. This is a part-time remote role, focused on managing production workflows, monitoring progress, and communicating regularly with site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors. Responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, setting production targets, tracking materials and equipment usage, and identifying potential delays or risks. The Production Manager will prepare status reports, update project documentation, and help optimize processes to improve efficiency, safety, and cost control. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and support timely, high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or contracting environments, with a solid understanding of production planning and site operations.
• Strong skills in project coordination, scheduling, and resource management using digital tools and project management software.
• Ability to analyze data, monitor performance indicators, and prepare clear progress reports and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with remote and on-site teams, clients, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality control practices, and basic regulatory requirements in construction.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects on a part-time basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
• Familiarity with budgeting, cost tracking, and optimization of production processes is an advantage.
