PRODUCTION MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join VEER-O-METALS (PHILIPPINES) INC. in Rosario, Cavite on a full-time basis. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving productivity improvements. The Production Manager will play a critical role in achieving operational excellence and supporting the company's growth objectives within the manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee daily production operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules
• Manage and supervise production staff, including hiring, training, performance management and team development
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications
• Optimise production processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations across the production facility
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate material supply
• Analyse production data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Manage production budgets and control costs whilst maintaining quality and safety standards
• Liaise with other departments including sales, engineering and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations
• Investigate and resolve production issues and implement corrective actions

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning and scheduling
• Proven ability to manage and lead diverse teams effectively
• Excellent understanding of quality control and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in production management systems and ERP software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in the metals or heavy manufacturing industry is highly desirable
