Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily workshop and production operations.
• Plan and prioritize production activities to achieve delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage manpower allocation, productivity, workflow, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and resolve production bottlenecks, technical issues, quality defects, scrap, and rework.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Oversee manufacturing processes including Sheet metal fabrication, Fiber laser cutting, CNC press brake bending, CNC routing and machining, TIG / Laser welding, Industrial spray painting and powder coating, acrylic fabrication and LED and electromechanical assembly
• Read and interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate production execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, workflow, and cost efficiency.
• Coach and develop production supervisors and frontline employees.
• Establish and maintain strong standards in safety, quality, discipline, and housekeeping.
• Work closely with the Plant Manager and management team to ensure operational targets are achieved.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Production, Workshop, Manufacturing, or Factory Operations Management.
• Strong experience in customized, project-based, made-to-order, or job-shop manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on technical knowledge in areas such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC, laser cutting, bending, welding, painting, or assembly.
• Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings.
• Proven experience managing production teams and a large workforce.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement, or productivity improvement is an advantage.
• Good command of English written and spoken.
