Production Manager

Job Purpose

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing operations at the Bitung Plant to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production of Cable Management Systems, Server Racks. This role also ensures effective utilization of SAP in manufacturing operations and drives Continuous Improvement across production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production activities to meet production targets, quality standards, cost objectives, and delivery schedules.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes for Cable Management Systems, server racks.
• Lead, supervise, and develop production teams, including supervisors and operators.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Monitor production performance indicators such as productivity, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure accurate production planning, execution, and reporting through SAP manufacturing modules.
• Maintain data accuracy and discipline in SAP related to production orders, material usage, and reporting.
• Prepare regular production reports and present performance analysis to management.
• Support new product / product localization introduction and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and shopfloor management.
• Hands-on experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be based at Bitung Plant, Cikupa, Banten.
