Hewitt is seeking a high-impact Production Manager to lead a multi-protein production facility, driving safety, performance, and efficiency. A critical leadership role with strong visibility and influence on operational success and growth.

About the Role

As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is a proactive, team-oriented leadership role where you will coach and develop team members, maintain food safety standards and drive continuous improvement to meet production and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach line leads and production staff in product areas.
• Work closely with QA, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Planning teams to proactively solve problems and maintain continuous operations.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment for all team members, focusing both on employee safety and food safety.
• Establishing and enforcing expectations for team members

About You

You are an experienced manufacturing leader with a strong background in meat processing and production operations. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to leadership. You are passionate about building strong teams and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.

You Will Bring

• Background in meat manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of USDA regulations and HACCP systems
• Proven leadership and operational management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive operational improvements

Location & Work Arrangement

• This position is based on-site in Shelburne, Vermont (05482).
• Candidates must be able to commute daily to the Shelburne, Vermont facility.
• Relocation to the area prior to the start date is required if you are not currently local.
