About the role

Responsible for managing and controlling the aluminium cap production process on the production floor in accordance with policies and objectives set by the Factory Manager. This encompasses the metal printing process (Printing on Metal) through to the cap forming process (Punching & Knurling) to achieve balanced targets in quality (Quality), cost (Cost), and delivery (Delivery), within the standards of FSSC 22000, GHPs, and HACCP safety and quality systems.

Key responsibilities

• Convert strategic production plans into daily/weekly operational plans and control production processes to meet delivery targets
• Manage on-site resources (Manpower, Machine, Material) for maximum efficiency according to Operational Excellence principles
• Closely oversee main production lines including metal printing process (Printing on Metal) and cap stamping/forming process (Punching & Knurling)
• Ensure employee work practices comply strictly with FSSC 22000, GHPs, and HACCP standards to prevent contamination
• Collaborate with QA department to conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Defect Reduction activities in production processes
• Drive machine efficiency improvement projects (OEE Improvement) in production lines
• Coordinate with engineering department to provide space and machinery for Preventive Maintenance (PM), particularly for Printing Machines and Press Machines, ensuring they remain in working condition
• Apply continuous improvement concepts (Continuous Improvement / Kaizen / Lean Manufacturing) with the production team
• Support sustainability policies such as controlling energy use in production lines and waste reduction
• Oversee workplace safety for production employees (Safety First) and create a positive work environment
• Assess and develop employee competencies including shift leaders and machine operators (Operator) to improve work efficiency

About you

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Technology, or related fields in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• At least 5–7 years of management-level experience in Manufacturing industry
• Experience in metal printing work and metal packaging forming work will be given special consideration
• Strong understanding of FSSC 22000 / GHPs / HACCP standards, particularly regarding product storage and cross-contamination prevention
• Understanding of OEE calculation and improvement principles, Lean Manufacturing, and 3M
• Knowledge of Inventory management and ERP systems
• Strong leadership ability with good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively across departments (Cross-functional)
• Working day Mon-Sat / 7 am.- 4 pm.
