The Production Manager ensures that production goals and product quality

are met according to SPC standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate previous daily production and machine operating conditions.
• Direct and plan daily work schedule incorporating equipment

preventative maintenance.

• Comply and ensure personnel are following safety policies and

company procedures.

• Verify production paperwork for accuracy and completion in a timely

manner.

• Coordinate and evaluate production scheduling based on sales

projections to ensure there is an adequate inventory of supplies and

staffing to meet production goals.

• Provide leadership and training to subordinates to promote continual

growth in job, skill, and knowledge.

• Monitor product quality on a routine basis to ensure the finished

product meets/exceeds NSF, ASTM, and UL standards.

• Evaluate plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency, minimize

production down time, and scrap goal levels are achieved.

• Process formulation tests to ensure a cost-efficient quality product

allows Sanderson Pipe to be competitive in the sales market.

• Responsible for preparing and conducting performance reviews for

production supervisors in a timely manner.

• Promote a discrimination-free workplace and good morale among

personnel to encourage a teamwork environment.

• Order supplies for the department.
• Generate Scrap Summary Reports.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Facility Plant Manager.
