The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Production Manager to join our St Louis office and take a central role in planning and delivering productions from pre-production through to post. Reporting to the Head of Production, you’ll work closely with producers, directors and crew to ensure projects run smoothly, on time and within budget. This is a hands-on position with real influence over how our productions are organised and executed.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production operations across multiple film and television projects, ensuring schedules, budgets and deliverables are met
• Develop and manage production budgets, working with producers to track costs and identify efficiencies
• Create and maintain detailed production schedules, call sheets and logistics plans
• Source, negotiate and contract with vendors, locations, crew and talent as required
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, union agreements and insurance requirements
• Coordinate with post-production teams to support smooth handover and delivery
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise, adapting plans and communicating changes to stakeholders
• Support the Head of Production with resource planning and process improvements

What You’ll Bring

Essential experience:

• Previous experience as a Production Manager or Line Producer in film or television production
• Strong track record managing budgets, schedules and logistics for scripted or unscripted content
• Confident working with producers, directors, crew, vendors and clients to solve problems and keep projects on track
• Familiarity with industry-standard production software and tools
• Knowledge of union and non-union production environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities

Desirable experience:

• Experience with productions for national broadcasters or streaming platforms
• Familiarity with St Louis locations, permitting and local vendors
• Understanding of post-production workflows and deliverables
