Production Manager – Thailand

The Production Manager is responsible for managing, directing and controlling the operation of production. This includes managing the production line, plan, safety, quality, efficiency, cost control and other related plant floor matters. This position will develop and train the team on continuous improvement and provide leadership in team building and quality excellence.

This position will report to the Director Operations, and will be based at our Prachinburi, Thailand.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Production people management
• Labor efficiency improvement
• Quality compliance and improvement
• On time finish production with request quantity
• Team development

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish and control production.  Ensure safe operation on production floor process and costs
• Control and validate the production process to meet the efficiency and quality standard
• Participate process development and quality improvement program
• Production dept. people development management
• Perform safety & Health management duty which include IT safety policy and related in accordance with company’s safety management regulations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant production management experience
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant production management experience in manufacturing.

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Strong knowledge in refrigerator, cold room, hot cabinet, foodservice/heavy equipment / products/system

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software: Excel, Word, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – English & Thai
