Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage the production and the team, ensuring targets are met and performance continuously improves;
• Organize regular performance meetings and drive fast, hands-on problem solving with the team;
• Manage and develop the team: onboarding, training plans, competency monitoring, conducting annual appraisals, career discussions and succession plan;
• Coordinate production operations and establish working standards with the support teams
• Contribute to customer satisfaction through reliable quality and delivery;
• Responsible for the performance and profitability, assigned targets and driving continuous improvement;
• Drive corrective actions on recurring issues and escalate to site level when needed;
• Ensure delivers the agreed production plan, adjusting quickly to any deviations;
• Drive action plans to improve performance and working conditions, including ergonomics;
• Prepare and manage the anual budget;
• Support the industrialization of new products and ensure smooth production start-ups;
• Promote a culture of accountability, recognition and continuous improvement, and maintain a positive working climate;
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and work standards.

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or similar)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing field
• Experience in a people management role
• Proven results in managing production KPIs and budgets
• Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving tools
• Experience with production planning processes and new product launches
• Fluent English
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
• Able to make decisions under pressure
