Production Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Production Manager to oversee daily production activities at our Food & Beverage manufacturing plant. The role is responsible for ensuring production efficiency, product quality, food safety, manpower management, and timely delivery of production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities according to production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure production targets, output, productivity and efficiency are achieved.
• Supervise production operators and manage manpower allocation, attendance and discipline.
• Ensure production processes are carried out according to approved SOPs, work instructions and production specifications.
• Monitor raw material usage, production yield, wastage and production losses.
• Ensure proper completion of batch production records, production reports and other required documentation.
• Work closely with QA/QC to ensure products meet quality and food safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC requirements and other applicable food safety standards.
• Monitor production equipment and coordinate with the Technical/Maintenance Team on breakdowns, preventive maintenance and machine performance.
• Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in food & beverage manufacturing or a similar production environment.
• Candidates with experience in powder mixing, beverage ingredients, coffee, premix, syrup or food manufacturing will have an advantage.
• Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, food safety and production control.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and people-management skills.
• Hands-on, disciplined and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to prepare and maintain production records and reports.
• Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel and production-related systems.
• Willing to work overtime or outside normal hours when required by production needs.
