Production Manager

Job Summary

Duties

• Manage all aspects of production operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet output targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols in all activities.
• Oversee the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely, addressing mechanical issues promptly.
• Lead efforts in training staff on manufacturing procedures, safety standards, and proper equipment handling, including heavy lifting techniques.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze data for process improvements, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing management or a similar leadership role within a production environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
• Deep understanding of safety standards in production settings and experience implementing safety programs.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations relevant to manufacturing industries.
• Ability to lead diverse teams effectively while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during shift operations.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team collaboration.

Pay: $52,300.00 - $63,100.00 per year
