Production Manager

Summary

We are actively seeking a Production Manager responsible for leading precision manufacturing operations, driving KPI performance, supporting AS9100 quality systems, and improving safety, delivery, cost, and production capacity.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead Production Associates and production Leads within the assigned manufacturing value stream.
• Monitor safety, productivity, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Implement corrective actions when production metrics fall outside established targets.
• Ensure production output meets quality and delivery requirements.
• Drive accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across shop-floor operations.
• Evaluate manufacturing capacity and production capabilities.
• Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce lead times, improve delivery, and reduce costs.
• Apply 80/20 principles to manufacturing improvement activities.
• Lead facility safety improvement initiatives.
• Support quality initiatives and manufacturing process improvements.
• Support AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.
• Support annual capital expenditure planning for capacity growth and cost reduction projects.
• Develop cross-functional manufacturing capabilities across production teams.
• Support value stream performance and production planning activities.

Job Requirements

• Experience leading direct production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing production KPIs related to safety, productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Hands-on manufacturing leadership experience in one or more of the following areas: AS9100, CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, quality systems, bearings, gears, seals, precision machining, or aerospace OEM operations.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools and principles.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing capacity and production capability.
• Experience supporting capital expenditure planning for capacity expansion or cost reduction.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Skills

• Precision machining experience.
• Experience with bearings, gears, or seals manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC machining operations.
• Experience with 80/20 manufacturing principles.
• Experience with structured business or continuous improvement systems.
• Experience supporting value stream operations.
